This isn’t just another delicate white: it’s made from the broad leaves of Yunnan’s ancient tea trees, some centuries old, giving it a fuller, fruitier, more velvety character than any classic white — with strikingly beautiful two-toned leaves, dark above and moon-silver below.
The name translates to “Moonlight White,” a nod to the legend that these leaves are withered only by night, never touched by direct sun. That romance has made it one of the most sought-after whites among collectors — yet its soft, apricot-honey sweetness makes it an easy first step into rare tea for anyone ready to taste something quietly extraordinary.

Really surprised me
didnt expect much from a shop i’d never heard of but they totally won me over. the moonlight white is so fresh you can smell it the second you open the pouch. there were jellybeans in the box too which made me laugh 😂 you can tell a lot of care goes into packing each order. definitely ordering again.

In a league of its own
Compared to other white teas I’ve tried – Bai Mu Dan, Shou Mei – the Yue Guang Bai here just tastes different. Brighter somehow, with that honeyed, almost fruity finish. A free sample came with my order and it turned into something I now reorder all the time too. This team clearly knows tea and genuinely cares about checking every batch. Not switching shops anytime soon.

Really impressed with this one!! 💯 I usually stick to green teas but decided to branch out and try a white. So glad I did – the leaves are absolutley top notch, those big dark and silver two-tone leaves look way prettier then other whites I’ve tried. Got it as a free sample first

Great quality, great value
Solid shop. Yue Guang Bai is one of the more popular white teas for a reason – it tends to be richer and fuller compared to something like Silver Needle which can be more delicate. The sourcing here shows. Caught one of their discount promotions which made the order even better value. Packaging was excellent, arrived fast.

Great entry point into whites
I usually stick to green teas but decided to branch out and try a white. Yue Guang Bai was a great starting point – it’s one of the more well-known whites so I felt comfortable trying it first. Really happy with the quality. Also got a free sample tucked in the order which was a pleasant surprise, gonna try that next.

I’ve tried a lot of white teas over the years – Silver Needle, Bai Mu Dan, Shou Mei – and Yue Guang Bai consistently sits at the top for me in terms of flavor and consistency.
