Known as the connoisseur’s corner, this shelf is really the most honest one in the Hive: nothing to hide behind, every harvest slightly different, exactly as wine drinkers expect of vintages. The labels read like passports — region, garden, season — and that’s the invitation: taste your way from valley to mountain and discover which corner of the tea map is yours. This single origin is absolutely wonderful
I’m normally quite skeptical of tea reviews online since everyone’s taste is so different and you can’t tell what’s real. I’d been buying from the same local tea shop for more than 3 years because every online seller I tried just couldn’t match what I was used to.
This single origin is absolutely wonderful – far better quality than what I was finding locally. The flavor balance is spot on and it’s exactly the kind of cup I want without being overpowering.
The sample teas they added were really generous as well. I ordered on Friday night and it was at my door by Tuesday morning, quicker than I’d expected.
The whole experience has been great and I’m officially done with my local shop. Sometimes you just need to find the rihgt seller!

Delivery was fine, took around 4 days. They added jelly beans and a sample tea which was a nice touch. The tea itself is good for everyday drinking and steeps without any trouble.
All in all a decent pick if you want a straightforward single origin. Nothing mind-blowing but definitely good quality. Would likely reorder when I run out.

this is perfect for my daily tea ritual. What really makes it stand out though are all the thoughtful extras. Got my usual jelly beans which always make me smile, plus they tucked in a few sample teas…Little touches like that show they really care about their customers!!!

I’ve been drinking green teas for a long time and decided to switch from my usual sencha to this single origin green. This shop is hands down the best around! Their customer service is amazing!
